SEAHAM Red Star impressed in tonight’s friendly against Ebac Northern League First Division opponents Billingham Synthonia and fully deserved a 2-0 victory.
They went in front on 22 minutes when David Palmer set up Lee Kerr who drove the ball past Synners goalkeeper Matthew Baike from outside the penalty area.
Early in the second period Palmer was left with the simple task of tapping the ball into an empty net following a defensive mix-up.
Young Robbie Heskett, who played the full 90 minutes at full back, was impressive in Star’s defensive line-up.
