Peterlee Sunday League: Seven-up NSCC on fire in derby
The fixture pile-up continues after only one league match beat the wet weather last weekend.
Murton New Hesledon missed the chance to close the gap on the top three in the Second Division table after suffering a crushing 7-2 defeat against in-form NSCC, who moved top on the back of their convincing triumph.
Ian Sinclair, man of the match Lee Chapman, Jonathan Roberts, Daniel Gibson and Michael Kennedy all scored for the New Seaham side, who were in complete control throughout, along with substitutes Dean Andrews and Ryan Chambers.
Ian Craggs and Liam Appleby struck in vain for New Hesledon, who could easily have conceded double figures.
