Sunderland West End celebrate winning the Shipowners Cup last season.

Ambitious TWR Bifolds Wearside League club Sunderland West End are on the move.

West End, who enjoyed an excellent campaign to finish third in the Wearside League last season as well as tasting cup success, will play at the Nissan Sports Complex this term.

They have been based at Ford Quarry since their formation.

Meanwhile, West End have called off Saturday’s scheduled home friendly against Northern League club Blyth, because of the clash with England’s World Cup quarter-final with Sweden, which kicks off at 3pm.

West End aim to rearrange the Blyth match for later in pre-season.

They will host Durham City on July 14 before also taking on Seaham Red Star, Willington, Easington Colliery and Ryhope CW.
