Northern League Ryhope CW will host Yorkshire opposition when the FA Cup kicks off the new season on August 6.

Gary Pearson and Stu Gooden’s men have been drawn at home to Northern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Pickering Town.

The winners will be away to Washington or Newton Aycliffe, who meet in an all-Northern League Division One clash, in the preliminary round on August 20.

Sunderland RCA start away to Penrith, with the victors away to Barnoldswick Town or Dunston UTS.

Seaham Red Star have a tricky game at FA Vase holders Morpeth Town, while big-spending South Shields have landed a tough trip to Marske United.

The FA Vase early stages were also drawn yesterday, with Seaham Red Star handed a trip to West Auckland in the first round qualifying.
