With 15 minutes to go, Liam Henderson smashed in Morpeth’s killer third, then, with seven minutes left, Henderson made it 4-1 from the penalty spot.

Relegated Washington lost their final game 4-0 at Dunston UTS.

The Mechanics held firm until just before half time, when Jake Stafford made the breakthrough.

On 63 minutes, Mark Fitzpatrick doubled their lead, and Liam Thear added Dunston’s third goal on 74 minutes. Thear soon made it four.

Marske United completed their title-winning campaign with a 32nd league victory, as Craig Gott fired home a 68th-minute winner to sink Stockton Town 1-0.

Stockton complete the league season tonight when they visit Dunston.

The Lawyers went ahead on 22 minutes, when Damon Reaks found the net. Second-half goals from Dean Thexton (2) and Adam Knowles sealed Tow Law’s easy win as they finish in eighth place.
