Northern League: Ian Chandler takes charge at Bishop Auckland

Bishop Auckland have appointed Wearsider Ian Chandler as their new manager.

The former Durham City boss – who won the FA Vase three times as manager with Whitley Bay – takes over at the Two Blues, who finished fourth-bottom in the Ebac Northern League First Division this season.

Chandler, who will be backed by assistant boss Brian Rowe, told bishopafc.com: “I am delighted to accept the offer of appointment as team manager of this great club and I can’t wait to start work building a squad for next season.
