Adam Johnson will be hoping to continue his fine form against Newcastle, if selected.

The winger has scored in three of the last four derbies.

Sunderland will be hoping Advocaat continues his 100 per cent record against Newcastle.

At PSV, he beat them 1-0 and 2-0 in the Champions League, in the 1997-98 campaign.

10. Seeing red

There have been five red cards in the last nine derbies, but none in the last four meetings between the sides.
