Four of Steve McClaren’s first seven games in charge of Newcastle United will be broadcast live on TV.

And the club’s season-opener against Southampton has also been moved because of the club’s invovlement with the Europa League.

The fixture will be played on Sunday, August 9 (1.30pm kick-off).

Newcastle’s game against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, August 22 will be screened by BT Sport with an earlier kick-off of 12.45pm.

And the club’s home game against Arsenal on Saturday, August 29 will be shown by the same broadcaster (12.45pm kick-off).

Sky Sports will screen Newcastle’s final visit to Upton Park.

The club’s game against West Ham United has been put back to Monday, September 14 (8pm kick-off).

United’s home game against Chelsea on Saturday, September 26 will also be broadcast by Sky (5.30pm kick-off).
