ROLANDO Aarons is a player who will “excite” Newcastle United fans – but Alan Pardew won’t expect too much, too soon from him.
Aarons impressed during the club’s pre-season campaign.
And the teenager winger is in the squad for Sunday’s Premier League opener against Manchester City.
But Newcastle manager Pardew will ease Aarons in gently.
“We have produced one of our own in Rolando, and he’s really excelled in pre-season.
“Our fans will love him, but we have to be careful we don’t push him too soon. He’s been a bonus.”
Aarons – who was born in Jamaica but moved to England as a child – penned a professional deal at Newcastle late last season.
The 18-year-old signed for United from Bristol City two years ago.
