Uruguayan outlet Salimo.uy claim United will be taken over by the Saudi-led consortium tomorrow and the club will then sign PSG forward Edinson Cavani on a free transfer. The report also claims former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will come in as manager to replace Steve Bruce at the end of the 2019/20 Premier League season.

PIF are set to take an 80% stake in United in a post-Mike Ashley landscape on Tyneside, while Reuben Brothers and Amanda Staveley’s PCP are set for 10% stakes.
