ALAN Pardew has admitted Newcastle United’s incoming transfer business could already be completed.

No agreement could be reached over proposed moves for Twente’s Douglas and Lille’s Mathieu Debuchy.

And Liverpool have blocked United’s attempt to re-sign Andy Carroll.

While Pardew is ruling nothing in or out between now and Friday’s 11pm transfer-window deadline, the odds are seemingly against any more incoming signings.

“We’re watching the market,” said Pardew ahead of tomorrow night’s Europa League tie against Atromitos.

“We know the one’s we’re watching. If there’s any movement on them, we may trigger ourselves.

“But the targets we have seem secure at their clubs.”

Asked if a deal for Carroll was still possible, Pardew added: “Not as far as I’m aware.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Cheik Tiote will miss the Atromitos game with a calf problem.
