NEWCASTLE pair Shane Ferguson and Brad Inman could both be sent out on loan again next season, writes ROSS GREGORY.
The duo had successful spells at Birmingham City and Crewe respectively – and both clubs want to snap up the players again.
Ferguson impressed as a left wing-back under Lee Clark’s tutelage at Birmingham, scoring a couple of stunning goals and helping the St Andrews outfit to a mid-table Championship finish.
Clark said: “I have made it common knowledge that I would like to re-sign Ravel Morrison (West Ham) and Shane Ferguson. We have registered our interest in bringing those lads back so that’s a possibility.
“Ravel and Shane have both indicated to me that they would like to come back.”
Inman, meanwhile, is wanted by Crewe boss Steve Davis after making a telling contribution in the club’s success this season, featuring at Wembley and scoring crucial goals as the Alex lifted the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and finished mid-table on their return to League One.
