JOHN Carver has been fined and warned about his future conduct by the Football Association.
Newcastle United’s assistant manager was involved in an altercation with Wigan Athletic coach Graham Barrow during a meeting between the two clubs earlier this month.
Carver was furious at the first-half challenge from Callum McManaman which led to Massadio Haidara being stretchered off.
And he went to confront McManaman – who has escaped punishment for the tackle – as the two teams headed for the tunnel at the half-time interval.
Carver and Barrow had to be separated by stewards, and the pair were subsequently charged by the FA with improper conduct.
Newcastle today revealed Carver had been fined and warned by the FA.
