Netherlands international linked with SHOCK cut-price deal at Newcastle United

Newcastle United are reportedly in talks to sign Netherlands international forward Ryan Babel this month.

According to Eurosport, United and Dutch giants Ajax are in discussions with current club Galatasaray as the Turkish outfit look to slash Babel’s wages off their books in January.

Babel spent the back end of last season at Fulham, where he scored five in 13.

The winger was previously a Rafa Benitez signing at Liverpool, and was linked with a move for Babel prior to his Craven Cottage arrival.
