FACUNDO Ferreyra’s set to make his final Newcastle United appearance at The Hawthorns tonight.
The on-loan striker is in Peter Beardsley’s squad for the final Under-21 Premier League game of the season against West Bromwich Albion (7pm kick-off).
Ferreyra, signed on a season-long loan from Shakhtar Donetsk last August, has not made a competitive first-team appearance for Newcastle this season.
The 24-year-old had a long spell out with a back problem earlier this year, but he returned to fitness last month.
And the odds are seemingly against him featuring in the club’s final two Premier League fixtures against Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United with striker Papiss Demba Cisse now available.
Lubomir Satka, Callum Roberts and Jamie Sterry are also in the Under-21 squad for the match.
Admission at the Hawthorns is £5 for adults and £1 concessions.
