MIDDLESBROUGH have made a double deadline-day swoop for German defender Maximillian Haas and Moroccan Merouane Zemmama.
Tony Mowbray has managed Zemmama before at Easter Road and brings the tricky Hibs attacker to Boro for an undisclosed fee, hoping to spice up his attack.
Speaking on the official MFC site, Mowbray said: “He can dribble, shift the ball from side to side, be positive and create chances and he also has a great dead ball delivery.”
Haas has joined from Bayern Munich’s second string on a one-and-a-half year deal. The 25-year-old has made 62 appearances for Bayern Munich II who play in Germany’s third tier.
