Middlesbrough 2 Bolton 1: Boro hail super Mac

Have your say

Substitute Scott McDonald scored twice for Middlesbrough as they came from behind to make it four npower Championship wins on the bounce.

Boro had trailed when Chung-Yong Lee gave Bolton the lead against the run of play with a cute dinked finish, but McDonald, who came on in the first half after an injury to Marvin Emnes, scored his first two goals of the season to maintain their momentum.

First he was on hand to poke home from close range following a spill from Adam Bogdan midway through the second half and then he headed home Emmanuel Ledesma’s cross in the final 10 minutes.
