PARK View stunned Oddies to pick up their first point of the season – at the 10th attempt.

Following nine league defeats, View were expected to succumb to their fourth-placed visitors.

But, instead, the home side produced a gallant display to fight all the way for a 4-4 draw.

Man of the match Sam Robinson, Sanvir Randhawa, Adam Milner and Rob Berry all notched for View, who will hope that it is onwards and upwards from now on.

Aquatic Sports belatedly kicked off 2015 in style, handing out a 6-1 defeat to visitors Whitburn Village.

Howard Staestrom netted for Whitburn, but man of the match Mark Fisk’s clinical hat-trick stole the show as Aquatic ran out convincing winners for their eighth victory in nine league matches this term.

Ryan Morse weighed in with a double, while Thomas Tansey came off the bench to hit a sixth.

David Barrow was Whitburn’s star man.

Hendon regained top spot by winning the game of the day 3-1 against morning leaders Hall Farm.

Star man Damon Ellis hit Farm’s consolation.

One point separates the top three, Hendon ahead of Farm and Aquatic.

Hall Farm have played one game more than their two rivals.
