CHEERS recorded only their league win of the season, handing out a 3-0 defeat to second-bottom Park View.

Keith Reay had a match to cherish, bagging all three goals for the home side, though the man-of-the-match honours went to Anthony Jones.

Robert Berry stood out in vain for Park View.

Whitburn Village shared the spoils with Corner Flag in their hard-fought 2-2 draw.

The mid-table sides could not be split, with Connor Sutton and Anthony Chambers on target for the Villagers. Daniel Howliston stood out for Whitburn.

Oddies completed a fine double success over Aquatic Sports in the second round of the TWR Bifolds Challenge Cup.

They won 2-1 in the second leg away to go through 5-3 on aggregate.

Hall Farm claimed a 5-1 home win against University of Sunderland in their second round first leg tie.

Sub Dan Callaghan’s double led the way, backed by strikes from Michael Renshaw, Lee Pearce and sub Mark Mhlanga.
