JOLLY Potters will tackle The Stumble Inn in Monday’s Third Division Subsidiary Cup final at Ford Quarry (10.30am kick-off).

Potters edged a 3-2 win in their semi-final second leg away to Ryhope Railway Inn to progress 5-4 on aggregate.

Railway Inn had the chances to deny their visitors, but the Potters held firm. Even with Copeland seeing red for the Potters, the Ryhope lads could not find an equaliser to take the game to extra time.

David Cawood and Craig Whelam scored for Ryhope Railway, but Anthony Rivers, Paul Webster and bad boy Michael Copeland, who was sent off, scored the crucial goals for Potters

South Hylton Potters made easy work of Stackyard in their First Division Subsidiary Cup semi-final first leg.

Stackyard simply could not andle the pace of the Potters’ forward line, as Maw, McCollin, Bussey (2) and Allan scored to take a massive advantage into the second leg.
