Sunderland RCA’s Jones wants to end season on a high

Have your say

Until last Saturday, Sunderland RCA were still in the relegation dogfight, but back-to-back wins has lifted them to seventh-from-bottom and manager Martin Swales will be hoping to make more progress at the expense of Consett, who visit Meadow Park.

“Following our midweek win, the place is buzzing, but it will be a different game against Consett.

“We are aiming to finish on a high by winning our last three matches,” enthused secretary Rob Jones, who reports that Josh Carmichael and Joe Hughes are likely to be available.
