Seven new clubs have been accepted into the Swinburne Maddison Durham Sunday League for the new season, which kicks off next weekend.
Sunderland Deaf Club are among the new teams, based at Herrington Burn YMCA, alongside Eppleton Cricket Club, Bearpark, Durham Buffaloes, Ouston Juniors, Birtley Coach and Horses and Spennymoor Salvin Arms.
Six clubs have changed their names from last season, with long-serving Premier Division stalwarts Houghton Comrades becoming Houghton Town.
Other changes see Washington Cross Keys switching to Washington Sandpiper, Fencehouses becoming Burnside WMC, Coxhoe WMC changing to Coxhoe Red Lion, Kelloe Davy Lamp turning out as Kelloe WMC and Chester Red Lion operating as Chester Park Inn.
The new campaign begins with only two league matches, plus 29 ties in the first round of Castle Insurance Alan Smith Memorial Trophy.
