SHILDON strengthened their Ebac Northern League Division One title claims with a crushing 4-0 win at Billingham Synthonia last night.
Darren Craddock headed the championship challengers ahead on 17 minutes and Paul Connor drove past Peter Burke just before half-time. Mark Doninger scored twice in four second-half minutes to seal victory.
The in-form Railwaymen are up to third, three points behind leaders West Auckland with three matches in hand.
Relegation-threatened Synthonia’s defeat leaves them just five points ahead of third-bottom Sunderland RCA, who have eight more games to play.
