Seaham Red Star Reserves remain third from bottom in the Wearside League after conceding a 95th-minute winner to Jarrow last night.
Jamie Davis gave Red Star a first-minute lead, but Jarrow turned the tables with a Darren Morton brace.
In the last minute, Matthew Maynard’s penalty appeared to have won a point for Seaham, but, deep into added time, Nick Payne came up trumps for the South Tynesiders.
In the only other game, Cleator Moor Celtic defeated Redcar Athletic with a Adam Meagan goal.
Murton have been on the receiving end of nine consecutive defeats – most of them by big margins – but they showed great improvement despite losing 1-0 to Boldon CA in the preliminary round of the Durham Challenge Cup.
The East Durham side took the Tynesiders into extra time, when the only goal of the night was scored by Adam Bell.
