Ladies wary of sting from Hornets

Have your say

SUNDERLAND Women can extend their lead at the top of the FA Premier League to seven points tomorrow.

The Lady Black Cats entertain mid-table Watford at Eppleton CW (1pm kick-off) – but they won’t be taking victory for granted.

Sunderland have 19 points from seven games so far, and the only time they have dropped points was at Watford in October.

After going a goal down, Sunderland turned the game around to lead through a Keira Ramshaw strike and a Kelly McDougall penalty. But Watford ended the visitors’ 100 per cent winning start to the season by scoring from the spot themselves.

Admission is £3 for adults, £1 concessions.
