ONLY goal difference separates Ryhope CW and Easington Colliery at the top of the table with just five games to play.

Ryhope remain out in front after defeating Willington with a brace of goals from John Butler.

Easington travelled to Kirkbymoorside and also won 2-0, thanks to Dale Crawford and Anthony Ross.

Silksworth beat Boldon CA, for whom Shaun Reay bagged a brace. However, James Gillespie, Anthony Rogerson, Mark Robinson and Shaun Godfrey netted for the Wearsiders.

Ashbrooke Belford House lost at Stockton Town, for whom Scott Hine scored either side of the interval.

Peter Kane was an early marksman for Jarrow at Wolviston, who levelled throughPaul Vickers. Goalkeeper Daniel Jeffrey then conceded an own goal to restore the advantage to Jarrow, who conceded a penalty, which Jack Proctor converted.

Coxhoe Athletic remain bottom after a draw at home to Cleator Moor Celtic, who scored through Robbie Fowler before Indy Singh levelled.

Prudhoe Town lost at Hartlepool, whose matchwinners were Kyle Anderson, Sean Ross and Matthew Thomas.

Houghton Town have completed their programme, but could still end with the wooden spoon if Coxhoe and Prudhoe win games in hand.

Windscale and Redcar Athletic ended goalless in Cumbria and New Marske won at Annfield Plain thanks to Andrew Rowe, Kristian Kamara and Ricky Phillips. Paul Henderson was Annfield’s only scorer.
