SUNDERLAND Ladies will play their first competitive game since being accepted into the FA Women’s Super League when they hose fellow FAWSL 2 side Oxford United, on Sunday, February 9, in the third round of the FA Cup.

The FAWSL 2 clubs enter the competition at this stage.

Newly-formed Durham WFC – who will also play in the FAWSL2 this season – were drawn at home to Chichester City or Enfield Town.

H Sunderland midfielder Abbey Joice has been selected for the January England Women’s U18 training camp.

The 17-year-old will join up with the rest of the squad on January 28 at St George’s Park with a friendly game arranged against Norway the following day.
