Durham Women have signed former Notts County and Doncaster Belles winger Emily Roberts.
She joined Doncaster last year on a season-long loan and scored six times, including twice against Durham, as the Belles gained promotion to WSL1.
Durham boss Lee Sanders said: “I’m delighted to capture the signature of Emily Roberts.
“She’s a player we know from having played against her in the FA WSL and in the North East at university level.
“She’ll bring experience of having played in FA WSL 1 and being part of a very successful Doncaster Rovers Belles side last season.
“I’m sure that she’ll fit right in with the squad from what we’ve seen so far, and she’ll give us another attacking option as we go into the second half of the season.”
Roberts said: “I’ve had a bit of time away from football to focus on exams and I’m really looking forward to getting back playing.”
She is expected to make her debut on Sunday when Durham host Aston Villa at New Ferens Park (2pm).
