Durham City duo want a repeat of form

DURHAM City bosses Lee Collings and Dickie Ord want more of the same from their team in tomorrow’s Evo Stick League Division One North game at Cammell Laird.

City thrashed Lancaster City 5-0 on Tuesday night, with recent signing Tommy English in outstanding form.

“We’ve brought Tommy back from Spennymoor Town and he’s given everybody a lift,” said Collings. “It was the best we’ve played all season but we need to repeat the form tomorrow.”

City might have to make changes to their line-up. David Dowson had to be substituted on Tuesday night after colliding with the visitors’ goalkeeper.

The former Sunderland player will need to have his fitness checked, as will Josh Home Jackson and Gareth Ayers.
