Have your say

Hall Farm had the upper hand in their derby against Farringdon Detached.

Lee Pearce’s double led the way in a 5-1 home success, with Chris Bewick, Richy Timm and sub Adam Baister also among the goals.

Louis Walsh fired Detached’s consolation.

Oddies revelled in a third hat-trick in three games from Michael Bulmer as they secured a convincing 3-1 win over visitors Sherburn Village WMC, who led at the break.

Newcomers Washington AFC were no match for Hartlepool Reserves, succumbing to a 7-0 away defeat, although they were only a goal down up to the 35th minute. Their cause was not helped by Illingworth’s sending off.

Sean Lewis was Washington’s stand-out performer, with Hammond firing a hat-trick for Pool.

Coundon & Leeholme eased to an 8-0 victory over Whitburn Village, with four-goal Paul Bailes the star of the show.

Daniel Kent added a double, with Kurt Matthews and Chris Howe also on the scoresheet for last season’s Durham Alliance League champions.

Bishop Auckland Reserves lost 5-1 at Redcar Town, with Connor McEvoy curling home a 25-yard free-kick for the visitors’ only goal, levelling at 1-1 early in the game. Richie Playforth fired a treble for Redcar.

Redhouse Last Orders were outgunned 8-0 at Killingworth YPC, while Seaham New Westlea endured a 6-1 reverse at Wallsend Town.

Wheatley Hill WMC edged home 2-1 against newcomers Durham City Reserves.
