SUNDERLAND West End finish eighth in the Wearside League following last night’s 3-0 defeat at Spennymoor Town Reserves in their final game.
Chris Foster produced a left-foot volley to give Moors the lead on 25 minutes and shortly afterwards the Wearsiders suffered another blow when David Keithley was shown a red card.
Moors made the numerical advantage count during the second period and goals by Kai Willis and James Leeds in the space of 10 minutes ended any hopes West End harboured of saving the game.
Stockton Town defeated Wolviston 3-1 and the champions end 12 points in front of runners-up Easington Colliery. David Dowd, Tom Coulthard and Kallum Hannah were the matchwinners, with James Rowe on target for Wolviston.
