Darlington late show, but it’s two out of two

Have your say

DARLINGTON 1883 made it two wins out of two in the EvoStik League Division One North last night – after travel chaos forced their game at Bamber Bridge to kick off an hour late.

Problems on the M6 hit the Quakers, who arrived fully stripped in time for an 8.45pm kick-off, and proceeded to cruise to a 3-0 victory over the Lancashire club.

Andrew Johnson’s well-taken double led the way, with Steven Thompson adding the third for Martin Gray’s side.

Blyth Spartans came from behind to beat Trafford 2-1 in the Premier Division, thanks to Joe Kendrick and Dan Maguire.
