SILKSWORTH CW have put in place a new management structure.

Scott Cameron, previously first-team coach, is the Wearside League club’s new manager, with Daley Clarke his assistant.

Former boss Mark McGinley will look after the under-7s and ex-Sunderland winger Barry Dunn will manage the club’s new under-18 team.

Chairman Phil Tye said: “I’m pleased to announce these new appointments. The club wanted a seamless transition to a new structure and this is what we have achieved.

“The club is now under the umbrella of the Youth Almighty Project, so it’s natural for us to concentrate more on youth development, but we’ll also fully support our senior team.”
