SUNDERLAND Women travel to Leeds United in the League Cup tomorrow – in a repeat of last season’s cup final.

The Lady Black Cats came out on top that day, lifting the cup after a 2-1 triumph at Northampton Town’s Sixfields Stadium, courtesy of two Natalie Gutteridge goals.

Tomorrow’s clash is the third game of the group stage.

Sunderland have two wins out of two so far, with victories over Sheffield and Newcastle. The final group game is away to Nottingham Forest on November 25.

Leeds top the group so far on goal difference after two wins of their own. The top two in each group, along with the best four third-placed teams, progress to the last 16 of the competition.

The game is played at Throstle Nest, Farsley, with a 2pm kick-off.
