HATEM Ben Arfa has responded to reports of a rift between him and Hull City manager Steve Bruce.
The forward, on a season-long loan from Newcastle United, today insisted he had “no problem” with Bruce.
Bruce, unhappy with Ben Arfa’s performance in last weekend’s defeat to Manchester United, didn’t involve him in Hull’s last two games.
It has been claimed that Bruce is considering terminating the loan and sending Ben Arfa back to United next month.
Asked about reports of a bust-up, Bruce said Ben Arfa needed to “roll up his sleeves and work for the cause”.
Ben Arfa responded to speculation over his relationship with Bruce on Instagram.
The 27-year-old said: “I just wanted to clarify my situation.
“I have no problem with my coach (Bruce). This is someone that I love that I respect and I admire!”
Ben Arfa – who fell of favour at Newcastle last season – is out of contract at St James’s Park in the summer.
