RONNIE Moore has made two changes to his Hartlepool United side ahead of the match against his former club Tranmere Rovers.
In come Scott Fenwick and Matthew Bates, with Jack Compton and Marlon Harewood both dropped down to the bench.
The pair were both subbed in the second-half of last week’s 3-0 defeat at Shrewsbury Town and Moore has dropped them both.
Pools are expected to line up in a 4-4-2 formation, with Bates in the holding midfield role.
It is a crunch relegation match with Pools bottom of Sky Bet League Two, nine points adrift of third-bottom Rovers.
Moore was sacked by Rovers in April for a breach of betting rules and he is keen to prove a point and come away with a win today.
Tranmere manager Micky Adams has named new loan signing Jennison Myrie-Williams, who Pools were also in for, on the bench.
