BLYTH Spartans have sold out their initial allocation of tickets ahead of Friday night’s second round FA Cup match with Hartlepool United.
The Rink End holds around 1,000 seats and as per the regulations of the FA Cup Pools have now sent the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side an extra 250 tickets for the Niramax Stand ahead of Friday (KO 7.55pm).
Tickets for the match - to be televised live on BBC Two - had been on sale to season ticket holders and have now gone on general sale.
Club officials say Pools supporters have brought more than 1,000 tickets for the game so far.
A club spokesman said: “Blyth have sold out their initial allocation in the Smith & Graham Stand and, as per regulations in the FA Cup on away support, the Club has now sent them an extra 250 tickets for the Niramax Stand.
“Unfortunately, this will mean that small number of season ticket holders in Block E of the Niramax Stand will not be able to buy their regular seat for Friday’s fixture.
“However, we will ensure that anybody affected can buy their tickets for Friday in another area of the ground if they come to the Ticket Office or call us on (01429) 272 584 (Option 2).”
The Ticket Office is open 10am until 4pm every day this week, apart from Friday on which it will open at 10am and remain open until kick-off.

Over 60s - £10
Under 16s - £10
