Gabby Agbonlahor delivers Charlie Wyke exit verdict
Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has stated that Charlie Wyke could step up to play for Celtic.
The striker is out of contract at the Stadium of Light this summer and is expected to leave.
When asked by Football Insider if Wyke could do a job for the Hoops, Agbonlahor said: “I think so. Celtic are in talks for a brilliant signing if they get it done.
“Yes, it’s a big step up but he’s a quality player in League One
"I’m sure he can make that step up fine and continue to improve.”
Sheffield Wednesday eye potentially important deal
Darren Moore is reportedly keen on Doncaster Rovers midfield John Bostock.
Moore signed Bostock while he was in charge at Rovers.
The Wednesday boss is considering making a move for Bostock as he looks to add quality.
It is understood that Doncaster would be open to letting the 29-year-old depart.
