With the impending release of Fifa 21 this will be one of the final promotiosn of the Fifa 20 game.

Here’s what to expect.

What is pre-season prediction?

Details on the promotion are currently under wraps, but a promotion screen features light blue cards suggesting that TOTS (Team of the Season) card could be on their way.

TOTSSF (Team of the Season so far) cards were released during the pause of football across the world and some are now speculating that a second up-to-date edition of blue cards could be on their way.

Alternatively EA could be set to release cards to issue players who have transferred clubs with new cards.

If that's the case Chelsea fans could soon be able to get their hands on up-to-date versions of new signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Could the game be linked to Fifa 21?

The countdown load screen features Fifa 21 cover art suggesting a link between the two games.

The promotion could well allow players to grind on the current game in order to win rewards for the future edition.

One of the most frustrating factors of Ultimate Team in recent seasons has been the need to disregard your old team and start from scratch on the new game – a rewards system could be a way of rewarding loyal users.

When is the promo launched?

Fifa 21 is already available to preorder for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC here.

These pre-orders are through EA directly though, so expect them to be far from the cheapest price available.
