EBAC NORTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION TWO: Several changes expected as Ryton look to stop the rot

Ryton are desperate to end a run of nine consecutive defeats, but will be without the suspended Eddie Keenan.

The clubs met in the reverse fixture just four weeks ago in a close entertaining game, in which City ran out 3-1 winners.

Manager Jordan Moore is expected to make several changes in a bid to put daylight between themselves and the bottom two.

Willington are fifth bottom and welcome Thornaby, who are clawing themselves away from the bottom, with 10 points from their last six league games.

Crook Town are fourth bottom and entertain Billingham Town, who are well in the promotion mix and Crook will have a fully fit and available squad, to take them on.

Billingham Town secretary Peter Martin said: “Mark Dixon, Dan Maloney and Dan Lambert are out injured and Elliott Beddow will have a late fitness test.

“I know Crook are down at the bottom, but we’re expecting a tough game, they’ve signed some new players recently too.”

Bottom club Esh Winning are at home to Tow Law Town and manager Tony Boakes said: “We’re hoping to have Shaun Ross back and three new signings that should be available, Kevin Molen, Matthew Allison and Dan Maddison.”

“Missing are Michael Gray, Ben Addison and Andrew Clarkson through injuries.

“It’s a bit of a local derby and a game we’re looking forward to playing, we need the points.”
