STEVE Bruce has denied a report that Hatem Ben Arfa’s loan deal has a recall clause.

Ben Arfa joined Hull City on a controversial season-long loan at the start of the month.

The Sun reported today that the loan could be cancelled by Newcastle, Hull or Ben Arfa at the turn of the year.

But Hull manager Bruce, speaking ahead of tomorrow’s meeting between the two clubs at St James’s Park, says there is no recall clause for Ben Arfa.

And he added that Ben Arfa – who is not eligible to play – will watch the game from the stands and NOT the dugout.

“Let me put this straight,” said Bruce.

“Apparently, what I’m hearing is he’s sitting on the bench next to me.

“He’s going to sit in the seat that Newcastle give him. If they want to sit him on top of the stand, that’s where they can put him.

“I’ve heard all the other nonsense as well, but it’s a normal loan deal like everyone else has got, no breaks, nothing at all.”
