CRAIG Bellamy has completed his surprise return to Liverpool on a free transfer from Manchester City.

Bellamy was out of favour at the Etihad Stadium and has now signed a two-year deal at the club he played for between 2006 and 2007.

The former Newcastle, West Ham and Cardiff striker, 32, will compete with the likes of Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll and Dirk Kuyt for a place in manager Kenny Dalglish’s starting eleven.
