ARSENAL and Southampton are weighing up move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, according to a report.
Woodman will play for England’s Under-19s against France tonight in a European Under-19 Championship qualifier.
The 18-year-old, son of Newcastle goalkeeping coach Andy, kept a clean sheet in the weekend’s 1-0 win over Azerbaijan.
And MailOnline report that Arsenal and Southampton are tracking £1m-rated Woodman, who has been named on United’s bench a number of times this season.
Newcastle, however, want to hold on to Woodman, regarded as one of the brightest young goalkeepers in the English game.
