Macleod signs Durham contract

SCOTTISH international Calum Macleod has been handed a professional contract with Durham Cricket Club after impressing over the last few months.

The 25-year-old linked up with Durham during pre-season after several outstanding displays forr Scotland in the World Cup Qualifiers, including an associate record 175 against Canada.

He made his Durham Jets debut against Worcestershire Rapids smashing 80 not out on his way to steering the Jets to victory.

He is now a regular in the Jets side but is hoping to feature for the club in all forms of the game and recently captained the Second XI.
