Eppleton U15s seal semi-final spot in tight Boldon battle

Eppleton Under-15s edged home by three runs against Boldon to set up a home semi-final with South Shields in the Glenn Robinson Memorial Trophy.

Eppleton were bowled out for 82 in 19.4 overs, with Jake Pratt hitting 25 from 24 balls and Adam Welch 11 as Jacob McCord (4-16) Tom Siddle (3-14) shone for Boldon.

In reply, Ethan Elsworth (21) top-scored for the Sunderland Road side and tight bowling saw off Boldon for 79, with Paul Lawson taking 2-8 and Jake Pratt 2-16.
