Durham Cricket Board Under-15s girls were crowned ECB Under-15s League B winners after a 90-run victory over Lancashire.
Lancashire won the toss and elected to field first, with Helen Fenby and Venetia Bradley opening the batting for Durham.
Bradley was dismissed early for just 10, but an unbeaten 113 in 110 balls from Fenby, backed by 38 from Bailey Wanless and 19 from Layla Tipton, led the way for Durham, as they posted 206-6 from 40 overs.
Ishika Lamb, Ellie Fitton and Emily Gibbons all picked up wickets for Lancashire, who then fell well short in chasing Durham’s total, scoring 116-6, with Charlotte Ashton (36) top-scoring.
Rosie Grant bagged 2-17, while Jessica Woolston, Erin Bunford and Erika Leonard also struck.
Meanwhile, Durham’s women eased to a seven-wicket win over Staffordshire at Durham City in the County Championship T20 Division Two.
Elysa Hubbard grabbed 5-11 in four overs to help restrict the visitors to 70-9 in 20 overs, then Durham, despite slipping to 28-3, won thanks to the partnership of Catherine Chapman (36no) and Becky Glen (13no).
Later in the day, Durham were outgunned by Lancashire in another T20 clash. Chapman (10) was the only batter to reach double figures in Durham’s 52-9, with Lancashire easing home by six wickets with more than five overs to spare, despite being reduced to 29-4 at one point.
