Philadelphia secured an impressive 15-run Durham Cricket Board Under-15s Central Division success against Sacriston.
Batting first, Phili posted 130-3, with openers Alex Davison (retired on 50) and Sam Ingamells (28) leading the way, backed by Chris Macknight (15no) and Ethan Dixon (14).
Sacriston finished on 115-5, despite good knocks from Nathan Hall (42) and Lee Hall (28no), with Callum Dodds adding 14. Luke Robinson took two of the wickets to fall.
Burnmoor defeated Eppleton by four wickets. The Church Road side made 69-8, with Liam Smiles (16) and Hollie Forsyth (15) reaching double figures as Thomas Lister (2-17) led an accurate Burnmoor bowling attack.
Moor had to scrap for their win, with Alex Cole (20) backed by O’Neil (11) and Waites (10no) taking them home, with Ryan Wardle (3-16) and Bradley Bainbridge (2-16) keeping Eppleton in it all the way.
Ajay Singh Rai snaffled 3-15 to help bowl Sunderland out for 70, before Washington eased to a six-wicket win on 72-4.
In the South East Division, Murton held firm to deny Ryhope in a low-scoring clash. Luke Thompson (29), Jack Norman (15) and Daniel Cooke (12no) steered Murton to 78-7, with Defty and Meddes both striking twice for Ryhope. In reply, Ryhope fell short on 67-9 as Alex Watson (4-7), Thompson (2-21) and Norman (2-14) held sway. A. Liddle (16), J. Defty (14) and J. Liddle (13) top-scored for Ryhope.
Callum Hutchinson fired a half-century against South Hetton as Seaham Harbour managed 117-3, helped by Rhys Slater (20), Adam Forster (13) and Harry Sennett (11), with Gary Lovick taking 2-25.
South Hetton reached 63-8 in reply, with Aaron Houghton (18) and Ross Launden (12) top-scoring. Slater (3-3) and Stuart Anderson (2-6) did best with the ball for Harbour.
Peterlee made 101-7, with Jack Spalding firing 38, before restricting neighbours Easington to 76-7 to complete a 25-run success.
Whitburn were dominant in their North East Division clash with Marsden.
Ben Markham (35), Tom Robinson (14no) and Ben Hutchinson (13) led Whitburn to 130-8, with N. Tully (3-21) and Zak Curry (2-36) shining with the ball.
Marsden struggled in their reply, falling to 33 all out as Matthew Downey (3-1 in 3.1 overs) was supported by two wickets apiece from Elliott Hearn, Andrew Durham and Oliver Coates.
Wearmouth were also victorious, totalling 112-7 against Felling as Owen Vaughan hit 32, with M. Lowery grabbing 5-19. Ryan Lumsdon hit 43 but Felling finished well shy on 68-8.
In the U13s South East Division, Easington beat Seaham Park, who struggled to 28-7, with Ewan Archer striking twice. Craig Sadler (16) led Easington home on 29-4.
Eppleton Under-11s continued their unbeaten run with a 16 run victory over Burnmoor. Josh Hutchinson (26), Edward Brown (18no) and Luke Johnson (15) led Eppleton to 104-6, Turnbull grabbing 2-19.
Burnmoor fell short on 88-9, Sam Hughes (14) top-scoring. Brown bagged 4-89 and Harley Anderson 2-9.
