Sunderland Harriers won the three-to-count team competition in the Sunderland Strollers Pier-to-Pier race on Sunday.
They placed Steve Rankin third (39.15), Brian Bewick seventh (40.59) and Michael Edwards 14th (42.04).
Susan Clughen won the over-60 title, finishing 661st (60.56) and Houghton Harrier Ian Morgan was first 70-year-old in 273rd (53.50).
First Sunderland Stroller to finish was Aidan Crowe in 15th (42.04). There were 929 finishers.
The Raby Castle 10k was won by Darlington Harrier Drew Inglish in 35.22.
Sunderland Harriers had Graham Lancaster in 30th (40.30), Tony Allinson 49th (42.19), James Johnson 55th (42.27), Dean Phillips 69th (44.06) and Barry Marlee 114th (47.11).
Sunderland Stroller over-45 William Bowman, making his marathon debut, finished 38th in the Brathay Windermere Marathon at Ambleside, clocking 3.13.14.
Former Sunderland Harrier Patrick Martin, making his 10,000m track debut in the Highgate Harriers’ England Athletics championship in London, finished 15th in the A race in 29.36.92.
