Sunderland AFC will kick off their first league game of the season on Friday - and you could be there for free.
We have two pairs of tickets to give away to see SAFC take on Derby County on Friday at 7.45pm at the Stadium of Light.
It will be the first clash between the two teams at the Stadium of Light in almost 10 years, when both clubs were in the Premier League.
The last time the two teams met on Wearside, on December 1, 2007, Sunderland won 1-0 thanks to a stoppage-time Anthony Stokes goal.
The tickets will be the first in a series of home, league match tickets up for grabs.
Over the course of the 2017/18 season we’ll be regularly giving away home game tickets to readers.
Echo editorial director Jay Yates said: “The SAFC ticket giveaways we published last season proved extremely popular, with some gaining more than 1,000 entries, so we’re delighted to be giving away home league game tickets this season.”
To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to Friday’s match, answer this question: which former SAFC player is now on the coaching staff at Derby County?
A) Kevin Phillips
B) Niall Quinn
C) Michael Gray

The winners will be contacted by telephone on Thursday, August 3. The winners, or a representative, will need to be available to collect their tickets from the Echo offices in Rainton Bridge Business Park, Houghton, in working hours on Thursday or Friday.
