A string of impressive ships has been continuing to arrive in Sunderland today.
Crowds are pouring into the city to welcome crews and gaze at the awe-inspiring craft.

Among those arriving this morning was The Eendracht, the Netherlands largest three-masted schooner.

The ship measures nearly 60 meters in length, 13 meters in width and has a depth of five meters.
The Eendracht has more than 350 well-trained, mostly voluntary, professional crew members.

Other impressive ships now in berth are the Sorlandet, which is sitting next to the Mir at Corporation Quay, and its fellow Scandinavian vessel the Christian Radich.
